Biography
Born in Toronto, Canada, Juliette Pelletier moved to Spain with her family early in childhood, beginning a journey across eight countries on five continents. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in Paris, with a minor in Art History, and studied classical painting and drawing at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Her work has been exhibited internationally for over 25 years. In 2017, she was honored as one of four U.S.-based artists invited to participate in the inaugural Sichuan University Artist in Residence Program in Chengdu, China. Since 1999, she has divided her time between New York City’s South Bronx and the desert landscape of Tucson, Arizona.

Alongside her studio practice, Juliette has worked as an independent curator, developing group exhibitions and international opportunities in collaboration with artists, galleries, museums, and alternative spaces. In 2018, she founded Juliette Solutions LLC, a mission-driven consulting firm offering event production, marketing, PR, and fundraising support for artists, arts organizations, and non-profits around the world.

Juliette’s international upbringing and exposure to diverse languages, cultures, and histories have deeply influenced her artistic voice. Her work integrates a wide range of cultural and philosophical elements, often exploring themes of scientific inquiry and the natural world—blending the tangible, the theoretical, and the ethereal.

Her visual language combines academic technique with symbolism, surrealism, and painterly abstraction, balancing precision with spontaneity. Each piece evolves intuitively, allowing narratives to unfold organically. Rather than impose a singular viewpoint, Juliette invites viewers into an open-ended dialogue, encouraging personal interpretation. Her work ultimately seeks to transcend the canvas, becoming a space where culture, memory, imagination, and perception intersect.
